The problem: every chain today is quantum-fragile
Every major chain -- Bitcoin, Ethereum, all its L2s -- secures funds with signatures that a sufficiently powerful quantum computer can eventually break. When that day comes ("Q-Day"), legacy EVM chains face a slow, painful multi-year retrofit, and proof-of-stake loses its edge because post-quantum signature schemes are heavier and slower. QMS sidesteps the whole problem by shipping quantum-resistant consensus from block zero -- no retrofit, no migration, no exposed window.

Proof-of-useful-work, not proof-of-waste
Every Bitcoin block is secured by computation that exists only to be thrown away the instant it is solved. QMS points that same mining energy at problems real clients pay to have solved -- logistics, portfolio optimization, vehicle routing. A client submits a problem and locks a fee; miners compete to return the best solution, and the network ranks and rewards quality.

A flywheel that funds security from outside the token
Miners earn the usual block reward plus the client's payment on top, which makes mining more profitable, pulls in more miners, grows total capacity, and attracts more paying clients -- each turn decentralizes the chain further. Because clients cover part of the security bill, QMS does not have to lean entirely on token inflation to stay secure, unlike most proof-of-work chains.
