Lighter: Trade Perps, Earn Real $LIT!

Lighter now runs the official perpetuals market on Robinhood Chain -- and its $LIT token is already live, not a future promise.

What Lighter is: a zero-fee, fully verifiable decentralized exchange built as a zero-knowledge rollup on Ethereum. Every trade, match and liquidation is proven cryptographically and settles back to Ethereum, so you never have to trust a black box, and you keep full self-custody of your funds the whole time. The project is backed by Founders Fund, Ribbit Capital, Haun Ventures, Robinhood and Coinbase, and its $LIT token launched in December 2025 and has been trading live ever since.

How the Robinhood Chain points program works: since Robinhood launched its own Ethereum Layer-2, Robinhood Chain, Lighter has served as its exclusive perpetuals venue, letting Robinhood Wallet users trade directly from the app without ever leaving it. Activity on this specific integration earns its own points, tracked separately from Lighter's earlier Season 2 program (which already ended in December 2025). Points accrue in real time and settle every Friday, converting straight into $LIT from a dedicated reward pool that reporting has tracked scaling from an initial $11M pledge up to roughly $25M as trading volume on the integration has grown. Trade through Robinhood Wallet specifically and you earn double the points of the same volume on Lighter's own web app.
